Savory Mushroom Tartlets
Ingredients
- 1 (14 count) package of premade mini pie crusts
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups mixed mushrooms, finely chopped (such as cremini or button)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2/3 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh herbs (optional, for garnish, such as parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (or according to the package instructions for the mini pie crusts).
- Check package instructions, and if the pie crusts require pre-baking, bake them empty for a few minutes following package instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the chopped mushrooms and garlic and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the mushrooms are soft and browned (about 7-10 minutes).
- Add the cream cheese and mix until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
